As a child growing up in southern Ontario, Veronica was fortunate to have a small woodlot behind her house in the city and could be found exploring most days. This inspired further travels around the province hiking, camping and canoeing in provincial parks. Her photography in those days was whatever inspired her at the time; mostly friends and pets and eventually once the travel bug set in, places and wildlife she’d seen.
From road trips across Canada to working as a safari guide in South Africa; backpacking the world with an emphasis on National Parks and endemic wildlife and more recently a trip to the Arctic has contributed to this collection of photographs.
With another cross Canada adventure in the near future, she hopes to capture and learn more about the wild places of her home country.
